Highlights
Year 6 Highlights
A fantastic day at the Houses of Parliament for the Blue Kite Pupil Parliament! Jaxson and Eliza represented Even Swindon Primary School brilliantly, joining fellow pupil representatives from across Blue Kite schools with confidence, curiosity, and pride.
During their visit, the group explored the historic Palace of Westminster, including the iconic House of Commons and House of Lords, where important national decisions are debated and made. They learned about how laws are created, the role of Members of Parliament, and the rich history behind one of the UK’s most important landmarks.
An inspiring experience for our young leaders – we are incredibly proud of how they represented our school community!
Pupil Parliament
Science Week (9th–13th March) was packed with curiosity, creativity and hands-on discovery across the whole school! 🚀🔬
Early Years and KS1 pupils took on the Commonweal Science Challenge by designing and building imaginative moon bases, while KS2 pupils engineered and tested their own rockets—showcasing fantastic problem-solving and teamwork skills.
On Tuesday, we were thrilled to host exciting live Science shows that inspired awe and sparked lots of brilliant questions. Throughout the week, year groups also enjoyed experiment rotations, giving everyone the chance to explore a wide range of scientific concepts through fun, practical activities.
From bubbling reactions to ambitious builds, it’s been a week full of exploration, excitement, and a real love of science. Well done to all our amazing young scientists!
